About the PA08S-133
The PA08S-133 is one of several available human-machine interface units originally manufactured by Parker as part of their PA PowerStation line. This series of color touchscreen interfaces were designed with standard software and hardware features and were designed with sizes that allowed easy integration into previous cutouts from other HMIs from Parker. Compatibility between older models and PA PowerStation units can typically still be located on the Parker site even though this unit is now a legacy display.
The PA08S-133 is an 8-inch VGA color STN display. The unit is UL/cUL and CE approved and is built with a 4/4X enclosure. It has a 133 MHz x86 central processing unit. Like all PA PowerStation HMIs, the PA08S-133 has standard hardware connectivity as well as standard software included. The software allows for alarming, graphics, and networking. The unit has multiple connectors including Ethernet and serial ports. It is designed with a removable CompactFlash card (external) that can maintain capabilities in rugged environments where vibration might disable other kinds of drives.
The PA08S-133 is designed to use DC power in order to save space and limit heat generation. However, if your application requires AC power, the unit can be adapted with an optional AC Power supply kit. Running the unit on AC power without this optional kit may damage the unit. The PA08S-133 weighs 4.1 pounds before it is boxed for shipment.
For additional information about the PA08S-133, refer to manuals or user guides originally provided to users by Parker. These important documents should be reviewed for warnings and for guidelines before unboxing your part or before any type of maintenance is begun.
