About the PA206V-135
The PA206V-135 is part of the PA2 PowerStation line of HMIs from Parker-Hannifin. These were designed by Parker to be a direct replacement for their earlier PA series. The PA2s have higher performance processors than their predecessors and also offer slim TFT displays. The PA206V-135 is a six-inch 640x480 TFT VGA display.
The PA2 series component the expandability, functionality, and connectivity of Interact HMI software with Parker standard hardware systems and connectivity including RS-232, RS-422/485, 100BaseT Ethernet, and CompactFlash storage. The unit includes panel tools, alarming, graphics, and networking capabilities. The unit has the option for historical trending, machine configuration, recipes, and reporting, all within an extremely reliable runtime environment.
The PA206V-135 can be dropped into a previous PA cutout using quick clip mounting features. The unit has more than fifty communication drivers available (standard) including ethernet drivers. It has a viewing angle of at least 70 degrees in all directions. The analog resistive touch screen allows for inputs at the device, while USB 2 ports allow connection to keyboard and mouse for other applications.
The touchscreen on the PA206V-135 may need recalibration at times. You will know it needs recalibration when the cursor doesn’t follow the location of your touch. Recalibration can be done through the MachineShop Shell Main menu and will run automatically.
