These devices are the Eurotherm 590 lineup of thyristor drives. This unit is listed as the 590P/0035/500/0011/US. This model, as well as the rest of these drives are available from AX Control, covered by our comprehensive warranty, for up to three years (depending on the product classification). These motor control drives are built with three pieces of hardware: a DC contactor module, a 590 DC Link Drive, and AC supply fusing. Standard equipment is also integrated into this series as well, such as the fiber optic communication module and a 16 bit microprocessor.

The standard configuration of these drives is a trio of converters. The models in this unit are Phase 4 regenerative models. They operate nominally with an intake of 720 A, with a 35 DC output voltage. The  590P/0035/500/0011/US model’s converters are run by a pair of controlled thyristor bridges and a field bridge, with transient and overload protection, together with control of acceleration/deceleration, speed and torque in both directions of rotation.

The 590P/0035/500/0011/US is outfitted with several terminal ports, such as the 8 analog ports in total, with 5 inputs, 3 outputs, and a total of 13 digital ports, 10 inputs, and 3 outputs.
