591C/3600/A/1

The Eurotherm 590 series is a wide array of devices, each of them designed with the various specifications that tend to overlap—making a majority of the Eurotherm 590 Motor Control Drives interchangeable devices.

The Eurotherm series has a series of similar hardware and features. Each unit is internally outfitted to operate utilizing a 590 model Link Drive, a series of alternating current fuse supplies, and a direct current contractor module. There is also a 16 bit microprocessor that these model use in order to manage the control capabilities of these units.

The control circuitry of the units are built as a product of the standard software blocks. The algorithms that these Eurotherm 590 models are complex formulas and codes, and are unable to be replicated or rewritten by any analog methods or techniques.

These units are outfitted with a type of converter, usually either a Phase 2 or Phase 3 set of three, though the models depend on whether or not these units are regenerative or non-regenerative. Both of these converter types are a comprised of either one or a pair of thyristor bridges, which offer protective capabilities for both transience and if any overloading should occur. These bridges are able to control the acceleration and deceleration for both speed and torque.

The 591C/3600/A/1 model is a spare thyristor drive pair for the Eurotherm 590 series, operating with an direct current input, at a rating of 360 amperes.
