Each set has one port for transmission and one port for receiving signals. The network functions at the RS232 network standard. Switches 7, 8, and 9 configure the encoder. Switch 7 configure Input A. Switch 8 configures Input B. Switch 9 configures Input Z. Switches 10, 11, and 12 configure the optional reference encoder. Switch 10 configures Input A. Switch 11 configures Input B. Switch 12 configures Input Z.
