The Eurotherm 620L00404000010USENW0000000B0000000 enables speed control of induction motors with an encoder. It also provides for a co-processor and ports for a fibre optic communications network.
The Eurotherm 620L00404000010USENW0000000B0000000 contains several valuable options for checking the status of the device, diagnosing problems, and viewing error codes, alarm conditions, and trip conditions.
The 2-line display on the control panel can show you the diagnostic status of the device. It is available in remote control mode as a menu option. You can quickly view the motor speed conditions, the DC line voltage, torque feedback, and many other specifics. The diagnostic menu enables the user to select specific diagnostic conditions to view. For example, select the operating mode menu to view if the drive is in Run, Jog, or Stop condition.
Alarm and trip conditions cause the device to stop. For example, if an overheat condition occurs, the device will stop. Other conditions are motor temp, motor stalled, overvoltage, and undervoltage. You can press a key to erase the alarm. You can place the device in Run mode to reset the condition. The alarm conditions immediately appear on the two-line display when they occur.
Another source of status information are the indicator LEDs on the control panel. The Health LED indicates the device is running without errors or alarms when lit. The Run LED indicates the digital input is active and that here are no errors when lit. The Brake LED, when lit, indicates a voltage has exceeded the dynamic braking threshold.
