About the 620L02204000010
The Eurotherm 620L02204000010 enables speed control of induction motors with an encoder. It also provides for a co-processor and ports for a fibre optic communications network.
The Eurotherm 620L02204000010 also supports a RS232C serial connection that can be used to connect to a laptop. If the laptop has editing software installed, you can download the parameters from the device to the laptop, edit the parameters, then upload them back to the Eurotherm 620L02204000010.
You can also edit the parameters directly on the device from the control panel. This method is most useful for making small edits to the configuration file. Remote control mode on the control panel enables you to edit the parameters. Menus are available that you can navigate to access the various parameters. For example, select the Diagnostic menu to view all the diagnostic parameters, select Serial Links to configure the serial port, select Configure Drive to edit the Drive configuration parameters.
Keys on the keypad help you navigate the menus. You can move up or down a menu level, return to the last menu you viewed, or view the first parameter available from the menu.
Another option available from the control panel to directly command the device. You can stop the motor, change the direction of the motor, and choose a predefined speed to run the motor. For example, choose Run or Jog speed to run the motor.
A key (L/R) is available for you to switch between Local mode and Remote mode. For example, press the L/R key while the device is in Remote mode to enter Local mode.
