About the 193X227BCG02
The 193X227BCG02 is a board component for GE variable speed drives. This includes such drives as the Speed Variator and the SCR Drive. These drives are powered by a DC motor and are often used for machine tool control. Each of these systems has its specific advantages; please refer to series guides for more information.
The 193X227BCG02 functions as a Pre-amplifier printed circuit board. Unlike many of the boards in the 193x series, this board does not have an attached front faceplate. However, the board does have two drilled holes to allow for mounting options. These are located on the left short edge.
The 193X227BCG02 is populated by various components, including three rotary potentiometers that are placed in a parallel line. All three of these components are mounted vertically and face outward toward the edge of the board. The board also has a line of four transistors, along with a single transistor that is located on the opposite side of the board from the other four. The board is populated by metal film resistors, diodes, a number of short lengths of surface wiring, three polyester vinyl capacitors, and three electrolytic capacitors. Components may be mounted horizontally or vertically to the boards surface. More information on how the board functions, its installation procedures, or information on individual components may be found by accessing publications from the original manufacturer.
