About the 193X256AAG01
The 193X256AAG01 board was developed to function as an amplifier card. General Electric manufactured this device as a member of the 193X series of replacement drive boards. A range of older and obsolete GE brand drives and exciters can have this card installed in its cabinet. When placed in a drive, this board provides the drive with six operational amplifiers. All amplifier spots are labelled for general purpose use.
Installing this card provides the drive with six general purpose operational amplifiers. These are labelled on board as OA1 through OA6. Amplifiers OA1 and OA2 both feature integrated adjustable output clamps. 193X256AAG01 also features dual diode networks integrated into the card. Adjustments and calibrations to the card can be configured using the four potentiometers installed on the board. These can be identified as P801, P802, P803, and P804. A ±20 Volt source is required by the card for proper operation.
A number of installation parameters are provided with this card. Be sure to review all pre-installation guidelines before beginning to wire the board. As drive boards like the 193X256AAG01 card are sensitive, only personnel who are trained and qualified to handle drive components should be permitted to install the device. A complete guide to wiring and installing this amplifier card can be found in the 193X series manual as well as the board’s corresponding datasheet. Technical support for this card was originally provided by the device’s manufacturer, General Electric.
