About the 193X256AAG02
General Electric manufactured the 193X256AAG02 board as an amplifier card. It was developed for the 193X replacement series of drive and exciter boards. As it is an older piece of equipment, this board should be installed in drives that need this card as a replacement.
Installing this card provides the drive with six operational amplifiers. Each amplifier found on this board is designed for general purpose use.
Six general-purpose operational amplifiers are provided by this card when installed in a drive. On the board, these positions are identified between OA1 and OA6. Both OA1 and OA2 are configured with adjustable output clamps. Two diode networks are also built into the 193X256AAG02 board.
Any calibrations or adjustments necessary to board function can be performed by the four potentiometers found on the card. These positions are labeled as P801 through P804. Card operation requires a ±20 V source.
Instructions for installing the card also include a number of pre-installation parameters that should be reviewed. By meeting these parameters, the risk of damages or injuries is significantly reduced. Boards like the 193X256AAG02 amplifier card are delicate and require qualified personnel to perform device installation.
Be sure to review the corresponding device manual and datasheet for a complete installation and wiring guide. The board’s manufacturer, General Electric, was the original provider of technical support for this device.
