About the 193X256ABG02
General Electric’s 193X256ABG02 board was manufactured as an amplifier card. When developed, it was placed into the 193X series of drive board replacements. Members of this series belong to an older group of parts, allowing for a number of older model and obsolete GE brand drives and exciters to install this card. The board provides the drive with six amplifiers. All of these operational amplifiers operate as general purpose connections.
The drive that this board is installed in is provided with six general purpose operational amplifiers. These amplifier positions are labelled as OA1 through OA6 for easy board location identification. 193X256ABG02 was also developed with two onboard diode networks. Should any calibrations or adjustments be required, the four integrated potentiometers allow users to perform this task. Like the amplifier positions, the potentiometers can be identified as P801 through P804. To ensure proper board function, provide a input source rated at ±20 V.
Be sure to review the provided installation parameters before installing the card. The risk of damages to the device is significantly lessened when these guidelines are met. 193X256ABG02 should only be installed by users qualified to handle drive boards. Please refer to the corresponding device manual and datasheet for a complete installation and wiring guide. Originally, technical support for this device was provided by General Electric.
