About the 193X277ACG02
The General Electric 193X277ACG02 board is a signal level detector card. This device was designed by the manufacturer for their 193X series of replacement drive boards. Members of this series can be fitted into the cabinets of a number of older and obsolete GE brand drives and exciters. When installed, the drive is provided with relay operation. This board is a G02 version of the card, which includes two identical relay channels.
Identical relay positions are provided to the drive when this board is installed. Sourced voltages fed to the drive can rate between 0.1 and 10 volts. Input voltages can be manually adjusted by the user via an onboard potentiometer. This allows users to calibrate the inputted voltages based on that required by the drive. If any voltages exceed the preset voltage level onboard indicator lights will illuminate. These provide users with a visual alert to system overload. Pick-up levels of the 193X277ACG02 board can be adjusted using a separate potentiometer. The board’s integrated relay interlocks feature a 1.5 A inrush current when voltages rate at 115 VAC as well as a holding current of 0.3 A.
Parameters provided with installation instructions should be met by users. Following these guidelines helps to lessen the risk of damage to the device. To further protect the integrity of the drive, only permit qualified users to handle this card. A wiring guide for installing the 193X277ACG02 signal level detector can be found in the series manual as well as the device datasheet. Technical support for this card was originally provided by the manufacturer, General Electric.
