About the 193X278AAG03
The 193X278AAG03 card is a 20 volt DC relay board. It was developed by General Electric for their 193X board series. Members of this board family are replacement boards, allowing for their installation in a number of applicable drives and exciters across the GE brand. When the board is installed, it provides the installed drive with three additional relay points.
As a 20 volt DC relay card, 193X278AAG03 includes a number of integrated components. There are three relays housed on this specific card. Each relay is comprised of a 2PDT component and a 20 VDC coil. Every 20 VDC coil found on this board is sensitive to polarity. Relay contacts on the card are rated at 1 (one) amp resistive with voltages of either 115 VAC or 20 VDC. Coils rated at 115 VAC feature an inrush current of 1.5 A and a holding current of 0.3 A. Dry circuit switching with the contacts is possible, but only if the dry circuits and the power circuits are not switched using the same relay.
A number of installation parameters are provided with this board by the manufacturer. Any outlines provided by GE should be met. These will protect both the relay board and the drive from increased risk of damage or defect. 193X278AAG03 should only be handled by trained personnel who are qualified to install these boards. General installation instructions as well as wiring diagrams are available to view in the device’s manual and datasheet. This 20 VDC relay board was originally provided with technical support by the manufacturer, General Electric.
