About the 193X279AAG03
General Electric developed the 193X279AAG03 board as a low level relay card. This board is a member of the 193X series of replacement drive cards. A number of exciters and drives from the GE family of products can have this card installed. When the card is installed in the board, it provides an additional three relays to the board. These allow for the drive to communicate and command attached devices or programs.
A number of integrated components are incorporated onto this low level relay card. Each of the three relays found on 193X279AAG03 is a 2PDT connection. Contacts on the relay are rated at 1 A resistive, with a voltage rating of either 115 VAC or 20 VDC. The relays are also comprised of a coil rated at 115 VAC and a 50/60 Hz frequency. Ratings for the pilot duty of the coil includes an inrush current of 1 A and a holding current of 0.2 A. Each relay includes a corresponding indicator light. These will light up when coils in the relay are energized. Dry circuit switching with the relay contacts can occur only if dry and power circuits are not switched using the same relay.
To reduce risk of damage to the device, please review the installation parameters provided by the device manufacturer. These instructions provide users with helpful information designed to protect the drive. Only allow users trained to handle GE drive boards to install the 193X279AAG03 low level relay card. Wiring instructions for the board can be found in the device’s corresponding manual and datasheet. Members of the 193X board were originally provided with technical support by the manufacturer, General Electric.
