About the 193X477AAG01
The 193X477AAG01 is a Converter card for a General Electric AF-400 AC Adjustable Speed Drive. These drives are 10-60 HP, 230, and 460 V 3-Phase 60/50 Hz drive systems. Their primary instruction manual is General Electric GEK-24996, which is available on GE’s website.
The 193X477AAG01 converter card is designed to control the firing of converter SCRs. This allows the correct DC link voltage to be applied to the inverter (193x476.) The converter card is able to do this using high impedance isolating resistors located on its surface. The resulting signals are used to determine proper firing points of the six converter SCRs and to detect loss of phase sequence.
The 193X477AAG01 is built with a 60 Hz jumper. If running a drive on 50 Hz AC power, this jumper should be removed from the board. The jumper is used to select the inverter base frequency range, which can be anywhere from 37.5 Hz to 300 Hz. Please consult GE documentation for additional information as jumper location is critical to the proper use and safety of your equipment.
The 193X477AAG01 is one of several Spare and renewal parts listed for the AF-400 drive. These parts work in conjunction with each other and should only be used as the original equipment manufacturer specified. For proper installation instructions please refer to OEM documentation like manuals and user guides.
