About the 193X543ADG01
The 193X543ADG01 board is a time delay relay card. This device was developed by General Electric for the 193X family of drive and exciter replacement boards. Members designed for this series are outfitted to be installed into a number of exciters and drives across the GE brand. Installing the card provides the drive with two identical relay channels. The onboard relays can be set by the user to activate or energize on a time delay.
When the 193X543ADG01 card is installed in a board it provides two time delay relay channels. All outputs produced by the relays are sourced from supplies rated at either +20 volts, -20 volts, or 115 VAC. An integrated time delay feature is included for both onboard relays. Time delays can be set for three separate time ranges, from between 0.1 seconds and 60 seconds. Relay energization requires an external power supply rated at ±20 Volts. Within the sealed relays is a 24 VDC coil as well as 4 (four) form C contacts. Light emitting diodes found on the board are illuminated when the relays are energized. While inputting 115 VAC to the card, the inrush current rates at 0.8 amps while the holding current rates at 0.18 amps.
Any installation parameters provided with the board should be reviewed before installing the card. Meeting these guidelines will reduce the risk of damage to the 193X543ADG01 time delay relay board. As the device deals with energized signals, only trained personnel should be permitted to install the relay card. A detailed and illustrated wiring guide can be found in the device’s manual and datasheet. Technical support for this card, as well as the entire 193X series, was originally provided by the series manufacturer, General Electric.
