About the 193X553ABG06
The 193X553ABG06 board was manufactured by General Electric to operate as a machine tool relay card. Specifically, this unit was developed for the 193X series of replacement drive and exciter boards. When installed, the card provides the board with a number of relay functions. This card provides the drive with six relays as well as their associated circuits. External circuits wired to the board can be controlled using this relay card.
A number of intricate components can be found on the 193X553ABG06 machine tool relay card. Relay circuitry on the board must receive sourced power rated at 115 VAC with a 50/60 Hz frequency. A nominal 18 VDC relay operating voltage is produced using an integrated, rectifier bridge, capacitor, and dropping resistor. Each of the six relays is comprised of two form C contact pairs that can be accessed on the terminal strip. Each coil circuit has a connected LED indicator that will illuminate when the circuit is energized. Coils on the board are rated at 115 VAC with a frequency of 50/60 Hz.
Each board from the 193X series includes a set of installation parameters. Be sure to review these guidelines before beginning board installation. As the card contains a number of sensitive circuits, only experienced personnel should be permitted to install the 193X553ABG06 machine tool relay card. Review the series manual and the device datasheet for a complete installation and wiring guide. Technical support for this device was originally provided by the manufacturer, General Electric.
