About the 193X703ADG04
The 193X703ADG04 is a S-21 Relay Card manufactured by GE. This board was created for the Speed Variator drive system or for SCR drives. Speed Variator Drive systems are bidirectional, while SCRs are unidirectional. Both are closed loop, adjustable speed systems that can be used for coordinated lines and machine tool control. Both include a DC motor and a power and control unit. The Speed Variator includes a transformer, while the SCR drive includes an operator station with a remote enclosure housing with run/start and stop control.
The 193X703ADG04 has a silver and blue front panel that includes a rounded handle. This handle connects to the front panel at two points near the bottom edge. Four indicator lights are located directly above this handle in a parallel line. They are labeled RA (IL226,) RB (IL227,) RC (IL228,) and RD (IL229.) These indicator lights show that relay coil voltage is applied and the relay is energized. The front panel is also marked with the board number and with the GE logo.
The 193X703ADG04 has four polyester vinyl capacitors, four sets of two metal film resistors (eight total,) and four relays. Each relay is marked on its top edge with a relay diagram. These are 120VAC 104X166A A046 relays.
Before inserting the 193X703ADG04, be sure all power to the drive is removed. Be sure the card is inserted into the correct regulator rack slot. Card identification number and slot marking number must be in agreement. Installation information or other technical support may be found in manuals, data sheets or other publications from GE.
