About the 193X704AAG01
The 193X704AAG01 is a Sensitive Relay Card component created by GE for their Speed Variator Drive or their SCR Drive system.
The 193X704AAG01 is used as voltage-sensitive relay board. This means it can detect levels of input voltage coming into the card, or the differences in input voltage coming in from two or more sources. This card contains a single sensitive relay, which allows the board to interact with different connections in a polarized or non-polarized fashion.
The 193X704AAG01 is built with a universal amplifier as well as a gain adjustment (marked P629.) This is used as a sensitivity setting for the relay action. The level which the relay will pick up can be set by setting the bias adjustment (P626.) This can also be set to zero adjust. The relay card also has two limit adjustments (P627 and P628) which are usually left in full clockwise or counterclockwise position. If set to a clockwise position they limit the universal amplifier output to ten volts (approximate.) If set to a counterclockwise position they will limit the universal amplifier output to near zero volts. The user can polarize the relay by turning one of these adjustments to full clockwise and the other to full counterclockwise.
P626 through P629 (mentioned above,) are designed using rotary potentiometers. The board has several resistors and diodes, which are mounted both vertically and horizontally. The board is bisected by a vertically mounted sub-board. This board functions as a universal amplifier. The board is approximately 5.5 x 5.13 inches.
