About the 193X704ABG01
The 193X704ABG01 is a Sensitive Relay Card component from GE. This printed circuit board is manufactured for the SCR Drive system and for the Speed Variator Drive system. The SCR drive includes DC motors from 30 to 250 horsepower, shunt wound, 240 VDC or 500 VDC armature. The Speed Variator Drive uses DC motors from 5 to 75 horsepower, shunt wound separately excited field or permanent magnet, 180 or 240 VDC armature. Both systems use a power and control unit. Control unit requirements may be found through GE publications.
The 193X704ABG01 is designed with a wide front silver and blue front panel with a handle. This panel is attached to the main PCB using two screws and reinforced with a metal bar placed on the top edge of the board. The front panel includes the board number, the board name, and the GE logo. It has four rotating switches that are labeled (left to right) gain, P628, P627, and Bias. Each of these switches connects to a rotary potentiometer that is wired into the PCB.
The 193X704ABG01 is populated with metal film and carbon composite resistors. Some of these components are numbered. Resistors may be mounted to the board vertically or horizontally. It has one capacitor located in the rear corner of the board. It also has one relay, which is marked 22JNCC-22752 104X168AA050. The relay has a printed relay diagram on one surface. The 193X704ABG01 includes one sub-board which has been mounted to the surface of the primary board vertically. This is a universal amplifier board (193X701CA,) which is populated with transistors, capacitors, resistors, and other components.
