About the 193X706AAG01
The 193X706AAG01 is a Buffer Amplifier Card for the GE Drive systems like the SCR Drive and the Speed Variator Drive. The drives are similar: both use DC motors, both are adjustable speed, closed-loop drives that can be used machine tool control. However, the Variator drive is bidirectional while the SCR drive is unidirectional, and while the SCR drive has adjustable acceleration, the Variator drive provides a constant load torque as speed changes. Horsepower changes linearly with speed.
The 193X706AAG01 is built with a front panel designed with a front handle connected to its bottom edge. The panel connects to the circuit board by two screws threaded through a bottom flange, then the PCB, then reinforced by a metal bar along the top edge of the board. The front panel of the panel carries the board number, board name, and the GE logo. It has four round openings, which are populated by one metal/plastic plug and three rotating switches. These are labeled P-322, P-323, and P-321. The switches attach to rotary potentiometers located on the back side of the panel that wire into the board.
The 193X706AAG01 has several components on the main board. This includes three diodes, four polyester vinyl capacitors and four carbon composite resistors of varying resistance and size. The board also has two vertically mounted universal amplifier boards (193X701CA) connected to pins. These boards are populated by ceramic high-voltage capacitors, transistors, potentiometers, resistors, and other components.
We recommend reviewing safety data before the installation of your new part. Manuals, data sheets, or other manufacturer publications may be excellent resources for this information.
