The 193X706AAG02 is a Buffer Amplifier card component from GE. This printed circuit board is a component manufactured for GE’s Speed Variator Drive system or for their SCR Drive system. GE’s original recommendation for both drives suggested keeping a ‘realistic on-hand spare stock’ supply to reduce extended downtime.
The 193X706AAG02 is designed with a narrow front panel of two colors with a rounded handle. The top edge of the panel is blue and is printed with the GE logo, the board information, and the board number. There are four round cut-outs in the face of the panel. Three of these are populated by rotating switches. The remaining opening has been plugged. These switches are labeled P-322, P-323, and P-321. Each switch is connected to a rotary potentiometer. These potentiometers are placed on the back side of the panel.
The main board of the 193X706AAG02 is populated with three diodes and nine carbon composite resistors of varying size and resistance. The board also has two lines of pins designed to accept universal amplifier boards (193X701CA.) However, only one of these board has been installed. This board is populated with transistors, potentiometers, resistors, capacitors, and other components.
