About the 193X709AAG02
The 193X709AAG02 is a Signal Power Amplifier Card designed for GE Drive systems like the SCR Drive, the Speed Variator drive, and other compatible systems. The Speed Variator and the SCR drive both use a DC motor. These are closed loop adjustable speed systems. The Variator drive is bi-directional with constant load torque, which allows horsepower to change as there are changes in speed. The SCR drive is unidirectional.
The 193X709AAG02 has a wide double-slot front panel connected to the PCB using two screw connections inserted from the bottom through a flange, through the circuit board and then through a second bar support. This faceplate includes a looped handle to allow for insertion and removal of the drive for replacement and maintenance. The top of the panel is marked for easy identification with the drive name, the board number, and the manufacturer’s logo.
The 193X709AAG02 has two bipolar transistors (Motorola 2N3612) mounted to the top of metal housings. The housings, which are U-shaped, connect to the board using a screw on each side. Three stab-on connections are located on either side of these housings, and wires are connected to each. If the board shows signs of intermittent malfunction, these connections should be checked.
Other components on the 193X709AAG02 include carbon composite resistors, a single polyester vinyl capacitor, a single varistor, and six vertical metal pins for the addition of an auxiliary board (not currently installed.)
The 193X709AAG02 is stored and shipped using an antistatic covering. More information about the board components and information regarding maintenance or installation procedures can be found via manufacturer datasheets or manuals.
