About the 193X725AAG01
The 193X725AAG01 is a Gate Pulse Generator card manufactured by GE for their SCR Drive and Speed Variator Drive systems. Both of these systems use DC motors and power and control units. The Speed Variator drive is bidirectional while the SCR drive is unidirectional.
The 193X725AAG01 is built with a wide silver and blue front panel. This panel is designed with four round openings that have then been closed with round metal plugs. A single potentiometer is placed behind one of these openings. This component may be used to calibrate a circuit. The board is marked at its top edge with the board number, name, and the round GE logo. On its bottom edge, a looped handle attaches at two points. The board attaches to the PCB by two screws.
The 193X725AAG01 has thirteen transistors located on its surface. These transistors are of two different designs. The board is built with eight polyester vinyl capacitors, some that are mounted vertically. The board uses carbon composite resistors. Some of these components are also mounted vertically. The board also has a single box capacitor that is marked 104X122AA103 22μf +/- 10% 50V GE. The board has three radial lead varistors.
A functional schematic drawing of the 193X725AAG01 Gate Pulse Generator card can be found within GE publication GEK-11016B. This will give the user information on peak points, maximum voltages, synchronizing voltages, and maximum voltages, as well as nominal resistor selections and outputs. If you do not have a copy of this publication, AX Control will be happy to provide this information to you at the time of purchase.
