About the 193X725ADG01
The 193X725ADG01 is a Gate Pulse Generator Card created by GE for their DC drive systems, such as the Speed Variator Drive and the SCR Drive system. Both of these drives are often used for test stand systems or to control machine tools. They can also be general purpose drives.
The 193X725ADG01 has a narrow blue/silver front panel. This carries the board ID number, its use, and the GE logo. It also has a looped handle to make the insertion and the removal of the drive from the rack a simpler process. The front panel is attached by two screws connected through the bottom of the PCB and thread through a reinforcement bar placed along the top edge of the board.
The 193X725ADG01 is built with thirteen transistors, seven polyester vinyl capacitors, and metal film resistors. Capacitors and resistors may be mounted vertically or horizontally. The board has two vertical metal pins for mounting a component above the surface of the board. It also has three varistors. Varistors are used to protect circuits from overvoltage conditions. Components on the board are numbered have not been given a lettered designator. The bottom of the board is marked with the codes S-21 and 942822884-8.
The final component on the 193X725ADG01 is a single white wire that connects to one of three metal board connections. These connections are marked 50Hz, 60Hz, and 45z. A warning on the back of the front panel states “Connect Bias Jumper(s) per Instruction Book. Nominal Connection 60Hz=A 50Hz=B 45Hz=C.”
