About the 193X741AAG01
The 193X741AAG01 is a Power Supply board component created by General Electric for GE DC drive systems like the Speed Variator Drive and the SCR Drive. These are closed loop drive systems that run on a DC motor.
Like most boards in this series, the 193X741AAG01 has an attached perpendicular front panel. This panel is printed with the company logo, the board identification number, and the board use information. It also has an attached handle that makes it easier to remove the drive from rack systems for replacement or to manipulate it during scheduled maintenance. The panel attaches to the circuit board using two screws.
The primary components one will notice when looking at the 193X741AAG01 will be two duplicate metal housings that shield the majority of the components on the board (including surface wiring, capacitors, resistors, bias jumpers, transistors, etc.) A bipolar transistor is attached to the top of each of these housings. The housings are attached to the board surface by screws.
The 193X741AAG01 has two twenty-four volt AC inputs and two twenty volt DC outputs. A rectifier changes the AC voltage into DC. This is fed into the power regulator and filter circuit. Once the filter circuit filters out the AC ripple in the rectified voltage, the DC voltage is transferred to output tabs.
