About the 193X741ABG03
The 193X741ABG03 is a Dual Output Power Supply board produced by GE for their DC drive systems like the SCR Drive, which is part of the Speed Variator Drive line. This board will also work within the Speed Variator drive. Both drive systems run on DC motors and are closed loop, adjustable speed systems.
Unlike most PCBs in this series, the 193X741ABG03 board has been built without a front panel. The board is designed with two mirror image sides with the board duplicating itself on either side of a center line. When looking at the board from above, the only components one would see are two large metal housings connected to the board using standoffs and screw mounts. Attached to the top of these housings are two bipolar transmitters and two fuses. There is another bipolar transmitter attached to the front of each of these housings, and another fuse attached to the back of each one. The top of each housing also has a single wire connection.
Underneath the housings mentioned above, the 193X741ABG03 is populated with eight vertical metal brackets, two sets of two under the center of each housing. These hold capacitors made of electrolytic material off the surface of the board. The edge of each side of the board is lined with eight bias jumpers that connect to various white wires. These wires connect to other components on the board. The surface of the board under the housing is populated with various polyester vinyl capacitors and resistors made of metal film and carbon composite material.
