About the 193X741EAG01
The 193X741EAG01 is a Dual Output Power Supply board manufactured by General Electric for their DC drive systems. This would include drive systems that are compatible with the Speed Variator Drive, including the SCR Drive. The Speed Variator is an adjustable speed, closed-loop drive that is most often used for machine tool control. Other compatible drives are general purpose drives and may have different specifications. Refer to drive manuals for specific information.
Unlike many cards in this series, the 193X741EAG01 does not have a front panel attached. The most noticeable components on this board include two large metal housings that bisect the board from front to back. Each of these housings connects to the board using standoffs and screws. Each housing has a bipolar transistor attached to its top surface and another transistor attached to its front. The housings have a fuse attached to the back edge and one attached to the front surface. There is also a single white wire attached to a screw clamp. The board underneath these housings is populated with various capacitors and resistors (primarily made of metal film,) as well as other components. There are also a number of bias jumpers located along each long board edge. White wires attach to many of these components.
