About the 193X803BCG03
The 193X803BCG03 is a Power Amplifier/Power Supply card manufactured by General Electric for the SCR Drive or the Speed Variator Drive. It will also work with other compatible DC drive systems.
The 193X803BCG03 has been created with a very wide blue and gray panel that is attached to the front edge of the circuit board using two screws. This panel is printed with the company logo, the board use (power amplifier and supply) and the board identification number. The board has one opening that is marked as P606. This opening lines up with a rotary potentiometer located on the surface of the board. The front panel has a rounded handle affixed to its surface. This handle makes it easier to pull the board from its location in a rack for replacement or to replace it after maintenance.
The 193X803BCG03 is roughly six inches deep by five inches wide. The top surface is populated with six transformers. This includes one transformer that is marked 156DA008. It also includes one toroidal transformer that is attached to the board using a center screw mount. This transformer has four colored wires that attach from its surface to the board. The wires are green, yellow, black and red.
The 193X803BCG03 uses vertical metal brackets to mount components above the surface of the board. There are five sets of these brackets on the board. The board uses electrolytic capacitors as well as capacitors of other material. Carbon composite material is used for most resistors. Black wires attach to six bias jumpers on the board surface. Some of these wires exit the board surface through factory made holes to the underside the board. There is a heat sink component located on the underside of the board. The wires attach to this.
