About the 193X804ADG01
The 193X804ADG01 is a Power Supply and Feedback board created by GE for their DC drive systems, like the Speed Variator Drive and the SCR Drive. These systems (and other compatible drive systems) run on DC motors and are adjustable speed, closed loop systems. While they are both considered general purpose drive systems, the Speed Variator Drive is often used for machine tool drive or for test stand systems.
There is a white and blue front panel attached to the 193X804ADG01 that is printed with the board number, the board’s function, and the round General Electric logo. This panel attaches to the circuit board using two screws. The panel has four factory-made holes that are populated by round removable tabs. The panel's handle is located below the tabs. This handle allows technicians to remove the drive for inspection or to insert it into rack systems with ease.
The 193X804ADG01 is built with two rotary potentiometers. These components are set directly behind two of the openings on the front panel. The board has two transformers. These are marked 104x145DA016 and 165BC0038636. It has three sets of vertical brackets for mounting components horizontally above the surface of the board. There is one transistor on the board, as well as eight capacitors. This includes three electrolytic capacitors and four polyester vinyl capacitors. The board has eight bias jumpers placed on the board in four sets of two. One of these sets of jumpers is wired together with a short length of black wire. Most resistors on the board are made of metal film.
