About the 193x542abg02
The General Electric 193X542ABG02 board was developed to function as a divider card. This board was developed for the 193X series of optional and replacement drive boards. As a member of this replacement series, cards like this can be installed into a wide range of older model drives and exciters across the GE family. When installed, this divider card splits power supplies as required by the installed host drive.
Installing this divider card provides the drive with an advanced set of skills. There are two channels found within the 193X542ABG02 card. The board features two fully integrated circuit divider chips. Supplies fed to the device must rate at ± 20 V. When fed to the board, a transistor power supply is created. This allows the internal power supply to be converted from the 20 V rating to a ± 15 V. When operating, the maximum output voltage rates at 10 V while the maximum output current rates at 5 mA.
A number of installation parameters are provided by the manufacturer for the divider card. Following these outlined guidelines will help to reduce the risk of damages to the device. When installing the card into an operating facility, the highest board performance occurs when ambient temperatures range from 0℃ to 70℃. The maximum range of temperatures the board can operate at ranges as low as -20℃ and as high as 85℃. A complete wiring and installation guide for the 193X542ABG02 card is available in the series manual as well as the device datasheet. General Electric, the device’s manufacturer, was the original technical support provider for the board.
