About the 531X111PSHABG1
When installed in a drive, the 531X111PSHABG1 card functions as a motor field control and power supply board. This device was originally manufactured by General Electric for their 531X series of replacement boards. Cards developed for this series are suitable for installation into a number of GE brand drives or exciters. When the board is installed it provides the necessary power supplies required by the drive. This specific unit is a G1 version of the board, with AC line MOVs mounted to the board itself.
The main function of the 531X111PSHABG1 card is to provide power supplies necessary for the drive to function. From this card, drives can draw rated voltages of 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. A supply is also furnished for the drive’s motor field circuit using a board integrated pulse transformer. This card also features a number of onboard options to enhance the user experience. There are three relays built into the board for execution of system control options. Five jumpers are also available for users to adjust and fix feedback and current signals. The board is completed with three potentiometers. These allow users to calibrate and adjust current and circuit feedbacks as needed.
Review all provided installation parameters before beginning to install the board into the drive. Any risk of damage or defect to the device is reduced when these guides are met. Device integrity is reliant on qualified personnel being permitted to handle and install these cards. Instructions on wiring the 531X111PSHABG1 power supply board are available in the series manual as well as the device datasheet.
