About the 531X111PSHAEG1
Installing the General Electric 531X111PSHAEG1 board provides the host drive with a motor field control and power supply card. When the card was manufactured it was developed for the 531X series of replacement drive cards. Older drives across the GE family are equipped to have this card installed within the device cabinet. The host drive’s required power supply is furnished by this board when installed. Configurations of the board classify it as a G1 board with MOV’s for the AC line being mounted on the board rather than externally.
Power supplies required by the host drive are furnished with the 531X111PSHAEG1 motor field control and power supply board. Voltages rated at 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC can be sourced and drawn from this card. Additionally, the integrated pulse transformer on the card provides the energy required to power the host’s motor field circuitry. A number of onboard options provide configurable functions to the user. System control options are executed by the three relays found on board. Additionally, the card includes five jumpers and three potentiometers. The jumpers allows users to adjust and fix feedback and current signals. Current and circuit feedbacks can be calibrated using the potentiometers.
Provided installation parameters should be reviewed by the user before handling the board. When shipped from our team, installation lubricants and static reducing wristbands are included. The 531X111PSHAEG1 card should only be handled and installed by qualified personnel. A complete wiring and installation guide is available in the device’s datasheet and manual. The manufacturer, General Electric, originally provided technical support for all members of the 531X series.
