About the 531X111PSHAFG2
When General Electric developed the 531X111PSHAFG2 card, it was manufactured to operate as a motor field control and power supply board. GE housed the card in the 531X series, marking it as a replacement drive board. When the card is installed into a drive cabinet, it provides the required voltages needed for proper drive function. As a G2 variation of the power supply card, this unit was specifically designed to operate within an external exciter.
Installing the 531X111PSHAFG2 card provides sourced outputs rated at 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC to the host drive. Outputs are also provided by the board’s pulse transformer to power the drive’s motor field control circuits. Users can configure the board to operate within specific standards required by the load. Five jumpers and three potentiometers are found on the card for feedback and current adjustments and calibrations. The card also features seven integrated relays on board. These can be used for executing system control features of the drive.
When shipped from our facility the board will be protected in a static resistant plastic bag. Before removing the board, review any installation parameters provided by the manufacturer. Only qualified personnel should remove the board and install it in the drive cabinet. A comprehensive wiring guide for the 531X111PSHAFG2 board can be found in the series manual as well as the device datasheet. When first produced, technical support for the entire 531X series was originally provided by the manufacturer.
