About the 531X111PSHAGG1
General Electric developed the 531X111PSHAGG1 as a member of the 531X series of replacement drive boards. This card is developed function as a motor field control and power supply board. Many older model GE drives and exciters can have this board installed in its drive cabinet. The necessary power supplies needed for proper drive function are provided to the host from this board. Configurations of the card are consistent with the G1 version, with AC line MOVs mounted on the board rather than externally.
531X111PSHAGG1 is capable of producing voltages rated at 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. The card also supplies the drive’s motor field control with the required voltage necessary to energize the circuit. These sources are provided by the integrated pulse transformer. Users can configure a number of onboard features to fit most load needs. Three onboard relays allow for system control options to be executed using the board. Three potentiometers and five jumpers are also furnished by the card. Calibrations to the current and circuit feedbacks is performed by the potentiometers. The jumpers are provided to adjust and fix current and feedback signals.
When shipped from our office, the 531X111PSHAGG1 power supply board will be wrapped in a protective static repellent plastic. To reduce the risk of damage to the device only remove from the packaging after reviewing the manufacturer outlined installation parameters. The series manual as well as the board’s datasheet contains a complete guide to wiring and installing the board. General Electric originally provided technical support to all members of the 531X series.
