About the 531X111PSHAKG2
The GE Terminal Board Relay Card 531X111PSHAKG2 supplies the 5 V dc, 15 V dc, and 24 V dc current used by the drive. It also features the pulse transformer for the motor field circuitry. The GE Terminal Board Relay Card 531X111PSHAKG2 contains several jumpers that you can set to configure the board to behave as required in the drive. The jumpers enable you to select the field current feedback signal, and the calibrate the armature current feedback signal. You can also select to suppress the K2 coil capacitor and adjust the offset current isolator.
It is best practice to inspect the original board and note the positions of the jumpers. Some might be positioned to configure the board for your requirements. Others might be positioned as they came from the factory. Either way, it is important to make sure the jumpers are positioned identically in the replacement board as they are in the original board. The replacement board might be a later version than the original board and you might find that the jumpers are located in different positions. Or, you might find that the jumpers on the original board does not exist on the placement board.
You can be sure that the replacement board has been tested in an array of replacement scenarios and any special jumper requirements are documented and available for you use in the information provided with the replacement board. Also, the boards are compatible and are designed to provide the exact same functionality.
