About the 531X111PSHASG2
General Electric’s 531X111PSHASG2 is a motor field control and power supply board. It was designed for the 193X series of replacement drive boards. An array of drives and exciters across the GE family can accept this board in its cabinet. A vital component of the drive system, this card provides the power supplies required by the drive to operate fully. Since this card is a G2 version of the board it was developed to be used with an external exciter.
This card is an integral component of the drive as it provides the system with the power required to operate. 531X111PSHASG2 can produce rated supplies of 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. The card’s integrated pulse transformer powers the motor field circuitry found in the drive. There are three relays found on this card. These include RUN (K1), MAX (K2), and FAULT (K3). Each relay provides a different system control option. There are also three potentiometers integrated onto the board. These are labelled as P1 (FIELD SCALE), P2 (CFB ZERO), and P3 (CFB ADJUST). All provide users with the ability to calibrate or adjust circuits or current feedbacks. The board is completed with five configurable jumpers. These jumpers are used to allow users to select and adjust current and feedback signals.
Drive boards are provided with a number of manufacturer outlined installation parameters. Meeting these will reduce some risks of damages or defects happening to the drive and its boards. As an important feature of the drive, do not permit any untrained personnel to handle or install this board. Only those familiar with the 531X111PSHASG2 should be allowed to install it.
