About the 531X111PSHATG2
The General Electric 531X111PSHATG2 board is a motor field and power supply card. It was designed for the 531X replacement series of drive boards and cards. As a replacement part, it can be installed in a number of exciters and drives across the GE brand. Required power supplies are created with this integral piece of the drive cabinet. Specifically, this G2 version of the board was developed to be operated in an external exciter.
Required power supplies are produced for the drive by this card. Supplies rated at 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC can be outputted by the board. 531X111PSHATG2 also includes an integrated pulse transformer that provides power to the drive’s motor field circuitry. The card also offers three relay points, K1 (RUN), K2 (MAX), and K3 (FAULT). Each of these relay points offers a different option for system control. Three potentiometers are also provided for users to adjust or calibrate circuit or current feedbacks. These include P1 (FIELD SCALE), P2 (CFB ZERO), and P3 (CFB ADJUST). Current and feedback signals can also be adjusted using the five jumpers found on the board.
Any manufacturer provided installation parameters associated with the board should be met. These are provided to lessen the risk of device damages or defects resulting from improper installation or handling. Only permit users trained to handle this boards to install the motor field control and power supply card.
