About the 531X121PCRAGG3
The GE Power Connection Board 531X121PCRAGG3 is a renewal part for multiple original equipment power connection boards. The control panel on the drive is useful for accessing the diagnostic information and also for shutting down the drive. There is a key on the keypad for stopping the motor and you can press it to start the orderly shutdown procedure. You might have to consult with an electrician or engineer who is familiar with your site to locate the power supply that provides power to the drive. Once you locate the power supply, remove the fuses to disable it and stop the 3-phase current.
Give the drive a few seconds to drain all residual power from the components before you touch anything. Open the door to the board cabinet and release the tabs that secure the power connection board. Remove all cables from the board and write labels to put on the cables so you’ll know where to reinstall the cables. All connectors have numbers that provide a precise identifier to use for reattachment.
Ribbon cables require an elevated degree of care. The ribbon cable is comprised of multiple small wires that carry signals and the wires are easily broken or disconnected. Only use the connector on the end of the ribbon cable to disconnect or connect the cable. Grasp the connector and pull it out of the connector on the board. To connect it, hold the ribbon cable at the connector and press it into the connector on the board. Never pull the ribbon cable by the ribbon to disconnect it.
