About the 531X121PCRAHG3
The GE Power Connection Board 531X121PCRAHG3 is a renewal part for multiple original equipment power connection boards. The 531X121PCRAHG3 board can be configured to provide the voltage needed for several power connection boards. Use the two jumpers on the board to configure it to be compatible with your original board. Included with the board is the information you need to set the two jumpers.
Once you determine the jumper settings, remove the board from the carton in which it shipped. Only hold the board by the sides to prevent damaging the components by accidently bending pins, breaking connectors, or damaging other components. Remove the protective bag and flatten the bag on a clean dry surface, for example a workbench. Use your fingers or a pair of pliers to move the jumper to cover the right pins. Don’t put down the jumpers or force the jumpers over a pin. You might bend or break a pin. Also, if you lose a jumper in the drive, you must retrieve it to avoid damage to the drive components.
Open the tabs that secure the old board and note carefully where the cables are connected. Connect the cables to the same connectors on the new board and then install the board in the drive. Secure the board by pressing the tabs which lock the board in place.
The new board might be a newer version of the original board. Even if the boards look different the new board will behave the same in the drive.
