Product Description

The 531X126SNDAAG2 is a Snubber Card from General Electric. The 531X126SNDAAG2 has twenty-four long black resistors with the resistor equation printed on the side of each one in white. The resistor is a passive two-terminal electrical component that implements electrical resistance as a circuit element. In electronic circuits, resistors are used in a multitude of ways such as reducing current flow, adjusting signal levels, dividing voltages, bias active elements, and terminating transmission lines, among other uses. The 531X126SNDAAG2 has fifteen metal tabs that stand vertically scattered throughout the circuit board. The 531X126SNDAAG2 has twelve sets of male terminals with white plastic bases and backing. Each male terminal is made up of four thin metal prongs. These male terminals allow for the 531X126SNDAAG2 to be attached to the surrounding circuit boards. The 531X126SNDAAG2 has seven sections of black wire (six long of equal length and one short). The long sections of black wire are placed in pairs while the short section of black wire is on its own. The 531X126SNDAAG2 has one small black square transistor. A transistor is a semi-conductive device that is used to switch or amplify electrical power or electronic signals. Transistors can be identified by the three connection points they have with the circuit board.  The part number (531X126SNDAAG2) the type of board (SNUBBER CARD) and the manufactures logo (General Electric) are all printed on the face of the circuit board, along with +SV-1.
