About the 531X128HMSACG2
The 531X128HMSACG2 is a VA-4 MOV Card from General Electric. The 531X128HMSACG2 is used for many industrial applications. The 531X series by General Electric is an obsolete circuit board, however, AX Control carries them for easy replacement in an older system. The 531X128HMSACG2 has nine dark brown resistors with multiple colored bands. The bands on the resistors correspond with a color code, that allows an experienced employee to know how to best use the circuit board. The 531X128HMSACG2 has eight small black and silver diodes. The diodes control the flow of energy by having a low resistance in one direction and a high resistance in the opposite direction. The 531X128HMSACG2 has one small red LED (light emitting diodes) which illuminates as an energy current passes through it. The 531X128HMSACG2 has fifteen vertical metal prongs around the circuit board. The 531X128HMSACG2 has three areas for large-sized fuses. The 531X128HMSACG2 has one large yellow polypropylene capacitor. Also referred to as a condenser. The condensers are so large that it is zip tied to the circuit board, for extra security. The condenser is used to store energy in an electrical field. The 531X128HMSACG2 can be secured in place with the four holes (one in each corner), or used as a daughter board based on how your system is set up.
