About the 531X140CCHANM2
The 531X140CCHANM2 is a power board designed by GE as part of the AC-500 drive systems. This board weighs approximately one pound and has been factory drilled in each corner to allow for mounting options. There are many versions of the power control board offered through AX Control.
The 531X140CCHANM2 has eight standoffs pre-mounted on its surface. These are on the board’s surface to allow the user to install optional auxiliary boards onto the power control board. Auxiliary boards mount into the standoffs and are held in place by screw mounts. Communication from board to board is achieved through ribbon cables connected to vertical pin cable connectors on the surface of the main board. The 531X140CCHANM2 has a variety of vertical connectors on its surface
The 531X140CCHANM2 is designed with one push-button switch component on its surface. It also has transistors, resistor network arrays, and potentiometers, along with multiple jumper switches. Jumpers are used to change the horsepower settings of the board to meet the needs of the individual user. These settings can be found in publications like GEK-85766. There are also multiple integrated circuits, capacitors, resistors, and surface wiring. The board is marked with codes like VA-4 and FR 00/0. It also carries an alternate F31x board number.
Detailed installation procedures and handling guidelines can be found through General Electric data sheets, user guides, and product manuals. If you no longer have this printed material, AX Control may be able to help you. Let us know what you need when you call or email to place your order.
