About the 531X174RCCADG1
The 531X174RCCADG1 is a General Electric Ribbon Connector Board in their 531X series. This board and the 531X series is no longer being sold by GE and may now be quite difficult to find. AX Control, however, does try to keep the 531X174RCCADG1 in stock as a restored or new surplus part.
The 531X174RCCADG1 is a very small square PCB, weighing only around 0.22 lbs. It has a single male connector that has forty-two metal prongs. A ribbon connector plugs directly into it. There is a white plastic clip on the top of the board that can secure the ribbon connector into place. There are a total of thirty-two gold lines (gold fingers) on the bottom edge of the circuit board that are conductive tabs that act as a backplane and helps connect to a secondary PCB. On the top edge of the card, there are two factory drilled holes in each corner. In between these two factory drilled holes is another hole that has a screw, a nut, and a plastic loop. There are also a little over thirty-two electrical pathways on this board that allows electricity to travel between the components on the board.
For additional information about the 531X174RCCADG1 and its installation into a 531X system, please consult the datasheets provided by General Electric. Because this is a PCB, it is recommended that proper antistatic procedures be followed when handling this board and any other component in this system. Only trained professionals should attempt to install this board to prevent any type of damage to the system components or personal injury.
