About the 531X175SSBAXM2
The 531X175SSBAXM2 is a control card component manufactured by GE as part of their general-purpose drive replacement cards. This includes the DC-300 system, and many other systems, drives, and control units across the GE landscape. Please consult your system’s manual to check for compatibility.
The 531X175SSBAXM2 is designed to function as a Dual Channel BIU card. It is marked with several codes, including VA-4, FR00/0, and 005/0.
The 531X175SSBAXM2 includes a right-angled male multi-pin connector along its bottom edge. Both this edge and the opposing top edge of the board are designed with tabular cutouts. The top edge of the board uses one of these cutouts to place thirty-six conductive pins along its surface like a connector. Each board corner has been factory-drilled to allow for mounting options.
The 531X175SSBAXM2 has three attached switch components. This includes two toggle switches that have been vertically mounted within the board’s body as well as one right-angle toggle switch that is mounted along the top edge of the board. This is a reset switch. Next to this are two red LED indicators.
Other board components include resistor network arrays, jumper switches, transistors, and over 30 integrated circuits. The board also has capacitors, resistors, and diodes. Data sheets, manuals, and user guides from General Electric will provide additional details.
