About the 531X184IPTAFG1
531X184IPTAFG1--Inverse Pulse Transformer Card
The 531X184IPTAFG1 is a PCB component manufactured by GE to fit into several of their general purpose drive systems, like the DC-300 or the AC-300. Many of these systems are now obsolete. However, they were designed by GE to be used for a variety of industrial applications.
The 531X184IPTAFG1 is an Inverse Pulse Transformer Board. It has very few components on its surface. Most components are grouped alone the left and top edges of the board.
The 531X184IPTAFG1 has eight connectors for communicating with other boards or with off-board components. This includes six 2-pin header connectors (male) and two male vertical pin cable connectors. Headers are placed along the top edge and cable connectors are on the left edge. The board also has two terminal pin connectors. These are labeled 24V and PCOMR. Finally, there are eight stab-on connectors placed in a single line along the top edge of the board.
The 531X184IPTAFG1 has six transformers. Each transformer is paired with a ceramic capacitor, a diode, and two resistors (one CCR and one metal film.) Three transistors also have an LED indicator located next to it.
The 531X184IPTAFG1 has two integrated circuits. There is a high-capacity electrolytic capacitor located between them. The board is drilled at each corner and along each long edge to allow for mounting. General Electric was originally responsible for all technical support for 531x boards. Please refer to GE user guides, data sheets, or manuals for more information regarding the installation, maintenance, or operation of this board.
