About the 531X185CPTAMG1
531X185CPTAMG1--AC 500 Converter
The 531X185CPTAMG1 is a PCB component fabricated by General Electric for their general purpose drive systems like the AC-500 and like drives. Primarily used in industrial applications, GE general purpose drives were originally designed to be powerful, flexible systems. Many of these drives are now considered obsolete.
The 531X185CPTAMG1 is a large rectangular board. There are six transformers located along the bottom of the board in a single line. Each of these transformers is paired with a two-pin header connector and three resistors. Resistors are both carbon composite and metal film. Three resistors are paired with red light emitting diodes.
The center of the 531X185CPTAMG1 board has three fuses that are mounted into fuse clips. Four through-hole electrolytic capacitors are on the board; these are supported by zip ties connected to the board. The center of the board also has a printed table that gives the user board function information. There is also a supercapacitor on the left side of the board.
The 531X185CPTAMG1 is drilled for mounting. The board has both stab-on connectors (previously mentioned) and two vertical pin cable connectors. There is a single integrated circuit placed on the board. More information regarding board components, installation or handling procedures, and other information may be found through GE publications like data sheets, drive manuals, or series user guides.
