About the 531X190SRCAGG4
531X190SRCAGG4--Snubber Resistor Card
The 531X190SRCAGG4 is a very small circuit board fabricated by GE. This board fits into their general purpose drives like the DC-300 or the AC-300. While some of these drives are now considered obsolete, they were originally designed by General Electric as dynamic, flexible systems capable of use within industrial settings for a number of tasks.
The 531X190SRCAGG4 is a Snubber Resistor Card. There are several versions of this card within the 531x series; not all SRCA boards are compatible with all drives. Please check your drive manual for compatibility. Snubbers are simple energy-absorbing circuits typically used to eliminate the voltage spikes that occur when a switch opens.
The 531X190SRCAGG4 is mounted on to a flexible white underlayment with a metal arm built with a flange. This flange gives the 531X190SRCAGG4 more mounting options. The board itself is roughly 2 ½ inches by 3 ¼ inches. It is a shaped card with two legs on one side of the board. The board has two openings that are ringed with a conductive material.
The 531X190SRCAGG4 has only a few components. This includes two diodes, marked D1 and D2. It has two metal oxide varistors (MOV1 and MOV2) placed on one short board edge. There are also two stab-on connectors. These are placed on either side of the metal oxide varistors. The last components are two wire-wound resistors. These axial components are marked 104x123DA066 2.2 CC. More information on this board may be found through GE publications like data sheets, manuals, and series user guides. General Electric provided all the original technical support for the 531x series.
