About the 531X191RTBAHG1
General Electric developed the 531X191RTBAHG1 board as a relay terminal board. It was manufactured for the 531X series of replacement boards. A number of drives and exciters from the GE brand can have this card installed in its cabinet. When installed, this card provides the drive with seven additional relays that can be used to control external circuits. It also allows users access to contacts and coils using the card’s terminal board.
The contents of this relay terminal board include the relays and their associated circuitries. Relays feature a coil that has a voltage rating of 115 VAC with a frequency of 50/60 Hz. Holding currents for these rate at 9 mA. Each contact found on 531X191RTBAHG1 features a voltage of 0.7 amps DC or 105 VDC. Other features include the device’s ability to tabulate the relay contacts and RTB points. Indicator LEDs are found for each relay. When coils are energized on the device, the relays will illuminate, visually communicating this to the user. The board can also be used to control inputted external circuitries.
Any parameters regarding device installation should be met the user. Drive function depends on these being met, as they reduce the risk of damage to the device. 531X191RTBAHG1 should only be installed by qualified personnel who are trained to handle drive boards. Proper wiring is integral to board and device performance. Before installing, refer to the corresponding device manual and datasheet for a complete wiring guide. Technical support for this relay board was originally provided by the device manufacturer, General Electric.
