About the 531X207LCSAEH1
General Electric developed the 531X207LCSAEH1 LAN (local area network) current source board for the 531X series of replacement boards. A range of GE drives and exciters are capable of accepting and using this card. LAN systems in the drive receive power supplies rated at either 5 VDC or 15 VDC from this board. A voltage limited 0.3A current source is also provided by the card. All supplies to the board are drawn from a 115 VDC fuse protected input source.
Configurable options found onboard provide users with flexibility in installing this card. As the board is capable of producing two supplies, users are able to select which is required. An integrated jumper provides position 1.2 to select 5 VDC, while 2.3 allows for 15 VDC selection. Voltages outputted by the board can also be adjusted to fit with the selected supply. An onboard potentiometer is used to select the appropriate output voltage needed. All inputted and outputted signals through the card are received and sent by the 12 point terminal board found on the card.
All manufacturer produced installation parameters regarding the LAN current source board should be followed. Meeting these will protect 531X207LCSAEH1 as well as its drive from unintentional accidents or damages. Do not permit any untrained personnel to handle or install this board. All wiring and installation instructions are available in both the device manual as well as the datasheet. General Electric originally provided the entire 531X series, including this board, with technical support.
